Module 10 - Exercise: Crafting Accountability Questions

Background of the story:

Your client has come to you with professional goals of getting a promotion at their company. You’ve both agreed that in order for them to be qualified for the promotion, they must have an MBA. The client finished their undergrad years ago with a very high GPA that would qualify them for an MBA program at the prestigious university in town. If they want to be enrolled by fall, they must apply and complete their financial aid packet by a certain date. The client has already applied and been accepted, but the one looming action step was filling out the financial aid packet, and the client missed the deadline.

The client walks in noticeably disheveled with their head down and disappointed.  You ask for followup and they share the story.

“I feel like a fool.  This school is way too expensive for me to attend.  I needed a federal loan.  Now that’s out of the picture.  I’m just so stupid.”
